The Corbelled Arch Bridge
A Historic Structure Inventory was performed for PennDOT District 4-0 within the Area of Potential Effect (APE), surrounding the Corbelled Arch. The Corbelled Arch Bridge is a single span structure which crosses a section of Bell Creek in the upper portion of South Gibson Township, Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania SR 2067.


 
Environmental Assessment of Intermodal Transportation Center, Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania
A Historic Structure Determination of Eligibility was prepared for the Wilkes-Barre Redevelopment Authority. The purpose of this study was to comprise an inventory of all standing structures within the area of potential effect (APE) and its view shed, to determine if any of these structures are eligible for the National Register of Historic Places.

Wayne County Historical Society Proposed Addition, Honesdale, Pennsylvania
A Phase I Archaeological Survey was conducted for the Wayne County Historical Society. The survey consisted of the machine excavation of 3 trenches to determine the location and current condition of the Delaware & Hudson Canal and its associated features.
 
Salem Township Act 537 Sewage Facilities Plan Update Revision
Pan Cultural Associates, Inc. conducted Phase I & II Archaeological Surveys, Phase III Data Recoveries of Sites 36LU191 & 36LU0270, and a Historic Structure Survey for Salem Township, Luzerne County, Pa. The surveys resulted in the recordation of one prehistoric site, the testing of a previously recorded site, and the recordation of a portion of the North Branch Canal at Beach Haven (determined eligbile for the National Register of Historic Places.
 
Luzerne County National Recreational Trail, Pittston City - Jenkins Township, Pennsylvania

 Pan Cultural Associates, Inc. conducted a Phase 1a Geomorphological Investigation for PennDOT District 4-0. The preliminary study included a review of both general and specific references on the bedrock geology, quaternary history, and previous archaeological work conducted within the general project area. Fieldwork included a pedestrian surface reconnaissance, mapping of the various landforms present within the mapped boundaries and to a series of 22 machine excavated trenches.

 
Nuangola Proposed Low Pressure Collection System
A Phase I Archaeological Survey was performed for in the Borough of Nuangola, Luzurne County, Pa. for the Nuangola Sewer Authority. The Survey resulted in the excavation of 2 Late Archaic Period Sites identified through the recovery of diagnostic projectile points.
 
Wayne County Business Park Construction

Phase I & II Archaeological Surveys were performed for Wayne INdustrial Development Corporation (WIDCO) in Sterling Township, Wayne County, Pa. Five historic sites were recorded during excavations, two of which, contained stone and brick features of hearths, chimney and foundations, along with research of the area and personal interviews conducted by Pan Cultural Associates, Inc. led us to the remnants of two sugarhouses, (one dating approx. ca. 1850-1910 and one only showing evidence of operation as late as the 1930's) used to make maple syrup. These sites have been recommended eligible for nomination to the National Register of Historic Places.
